Additional information

This is one of a series of shots at this location, Poolburn reservoir that pushed me to get more serious about my photograpy. It's a wider version of this shot.I didn't process the image except for the raw converson, as i wanted to keep the muted, desaturated tones and color of this very special morning.

A colleague and i had arrived on set to find a beautiful early morning frost, we decided to take some shots before work started. The doorway is a fishermans toilet at the lake side, i love the way it's just there in the middle of nowhere.

I've included a GoogleMaps location for anyone who want to know the location of this spot.

I can see why this image would nudge you towards taking your photography more serious. It is very well done.... I love the colors, the lighting and the soft pastel colors.

There is a beautiful, surreal feel to this picture. You almost don't notice the shed behind the door.
