Spain

This shot was taken on our recent trip to Northern Spain and was at an urban basketball court in downtown Oviedo, the home town of Fernando Alonso.

This is a shot of our friend Maria walking her sisters dog through the streets of San Sebastian.

The blur is in camera and was achieved by quickly zooming out using my wide 12-24mm lense.

We've been away for the last week travelling around Northern Spain, hence the lack of updates.

This wonderfully dilapidated boat was sitting in the harbour at San Sebastian in the Basque country.

This old style bike caught my attention whilst walking through the market street and lanes in Ciudadela, Menorca.

It's only with hindsight that i wish i'd tilted the camera up to include the lamp and less of the floor, but i guess that's the way it goes sometimes, maybe i'll shoot it again if we ever go back there.

When friends have looked at this picture they remark that i caught the moment perfectly with the tie flying over the shoulder and the jacket having a lot of motion. The truth of this picture is that this guy is a street performer working around Barcelona, and he stand still most of the day with tis expression. The clothes and tie have wire frame in them to keep them rigid, I like his expression, he was quite a character.

This shot was taken early in the morning in the autumn over the South Downs.Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Taken shortly after this shot, again in the street of Ciudadela in Menorca. I am pretty happy with the B&W conversion which initially took place in Aperture, which i then refined in Photoshop afterwards.
